Affiliate interview of the month - Eurostar Srl

This month we interviewed Gianni Fiorita of Eurostar Srl.

Briefly introduce your company and your role within it.

I am Gianni Fiorita, Sole Director of Eurostar srl. I have always worked in road haulage, from 1982 to today and I have gained my experience carrying out all the tasks: from warehouseman to driver, from porter to operator, from salesman to administration and management. I therefore know this work in its most intimate aspects and I am able to prevent some problems, as well as resolve them. The company has its roots in a decade of corporate experience in Euroitaly, where we were the Florence Hub of the Group itself and where we also gained positive experiences at the management level of the Group and the Hub. Then this phase ended with the 2008 crisis and, after having honored all my commitments, I created EUROSTAR SRL on my own.

How long have you been affiliated with the Group? 

We have been affiliated with CDS since 2008, first as Euroitaly Firenze srl and then as Eurostar srl.

Which areas/provinces do you serve for the Group and which sectors/customers do you target?

We serve the CDS Group in Florence and its province, with the exception of some areas recently entrusted to new friendly affiliates who help us to cover the area extensively, which has its own complexities.

What does being a CDS affiliate mean to you?

Being CDS affiliates has always been a source of pride for us, even when we have been criticized for being affiliated only with this Group and not with others, who nevertheless seek us out repeatedly. This is because we believed and believe in the founding values ​​of the Group, in the people and companies that represent it, since the seriousness and professionalism that does not chase the price, pays off and is satisfying in the long run.
