Affiliate interview of the month - Logistica Bastasini S.r.l.

This month we interviewed Simone Lovato, Head of Logistics of Logistica Bastasini

Briefly introduce your company and your role within:

Logistica Bastasini Srls, located in via Monte Comun 23 in San Giovanni Lupatoto, carries out logistics services with loading and unloading trucks, picking and goods storage.

Our warehouse has 2500 square meters covered and is equipped with loading ramps and surveillance cameras, and we have another 3500 square meters. of square also under video surveillance in a strategic area 500 meters from the exit of the Transpolesana ring road.

Logistica Bastasini uses for distribution the vehicles of the same Bastasini Autotrasporti and vans directly managed by the same.

The strength of our company is correctness and seriousness. We invest in security and work in compliance with social security, labor, tax regulations and last but not least, we allocate financial resources for the necessary and mandatory insurance coverage to protect customers and the goods entrusted to us.  

This is because we believe it is essential for the customer to have the clear perception of having entrusted his goods to a conscientious and responsible carrier.

I am Lovato Simone and I am Head of Logistics of Logistica Bastasini, I personally follow the management of the service from customer acquisition, passing from the transport of the same to the management of the warehouse.

I manage the company with the awareness that, knowing all the phases, you can be more effective and attentive to how to improve and optimize all phases.

How long have you been affiliated with the Group?

From 2020.

Which areas/provinces do you serve for the Group and which sectors/customers do you target?

We serve Verona and its province for the distribution of groupage, but we also offer logistics and transport services concentrated in northern and central Italy.

What does being a CDS affiliate mean to you?

It means having a weight in the jungle of transporters present in Italy,

It means being able to offer the customer logistics solutions in step with the times where information is more important than the shipment itself.

It means being part of a group ready to grow by implementing services aware that unity is strength.
