Affiliate interview of the month - Racchetti Mediotrasporti

This month we interviewed Sara Gentile of Racchetti Mediotrasporti.

Briefly introduce your company and your role within it.

Racchetti Medio Trasporti Srl is a historic company in the Cremona area that has been offering third-party logistics solutions and national and international transport services since 1960, supporting the Customer through personalized consultancy aimed at providing the best solutions in order to meet the needs and various types of goods and products to be stored and transported.

The headquarters are located in Cremona with owned warehouses of approximately 15,000 square meters, 6,000 of which are covered. To ensure an efficient and flexible response to customer requests, we use owned vehicles and direct employees, both traveling and in the warehouse, as well as historic partners of proven reliability, selected over time for efficiency and punctuality for global coverage of any transport service. We are in fact aware that entrusting the goods to someone means, above all else, establishing a relationship of trust.

Always finding a solution and keeping the promise made is what guides us and constantly pushes us to improve and grow, without losing sight of quality.

There is a concept that makes our modus operandi truly credible: our company is made up of people, even before vehicles and warehouses. In fact, we have favored a reality in which every single member of our team is involved and feels an active part of teamwork. I am Sara Gentile and within the Company I deal with the management, supervision and implementation of the Shipping department, palletized express services and relationships with Correspondents/Transport Partners.

How long have you been affiliated with the Group?

We have been affiliated with the CDS Group since 02/05/2023, I would say with great satisfaction.

Which areas/provinces do you serve for the Group and towards which sectors/customers do you propose?

On behalf of the Group, we distribute in part of the province of Piacenza and part of the province of Lodi. We offer our services to all product sectors, including dry food and feed under HACCP, material under A.D.R. as well as special waste. Currently we do not only manage goods at controlled temperatures.

What does being a CDS affiliate mean to you?

Being a CDS affiliate for us means being part of a team that is constantly committed to improving and that reacts proactively to market challenges. This collective effort translates commercially and operationally into being able to offer our customers a quality groupage service using a reliable transport partner.
