Affiliate interview of the month - Sogedim Spa

This month we interviewed Marco Zotti, Head of National Department – Transport & Partner Management of Sogedim Spa.

Briefly present your company and your role within:

I'm the manager of the National department - Network and Correspondents management. 

Sogedim S.p.A. was born as a national freight forwarder, and then expanded its services for customers to the international market.

Today international represents the core business for Sogedim, placing it as a leading company for international shipments, with daily lines on all the main European markets (France-Spain-Benelux-England-Germany) plus various weekly and bi-weekly departures vs all of Europe.

Sogedim can also offer overseas shipping services by air and sea, as well as being able to offer logistics services, including integrated ones.

How long have you been affiliated with the Group?

For over 15 years.

Which areas/provinces do you serve for the Group?

Varese and Novara.

What does being a CDS affiliate mean to you?

Being in CDS allows us to ship and collect throughout Italy, covering an important slice of the transport market such as groupage, making use of a network of professionals in the sector.
