A new hub in the interport of Bologna, inaugurated last February, a new hub in Naples and the intensification of the exchange and offer for southern Italy, the relaunch of the Milan hub with the north-west interchange and the 'aggregation of more and more area partners and a whole new governance.
CDS Group looks to a rosy future, made up of continuity with the previous work but also of innovation (and many goals still to be achieved).
The Italian group with headquarters in Bologna and hubs in Milan and Caserta brings important numbers into 2022: 90 affiliates, of which 70 in Italy and 20 in Europe, over 6 million shipments delivered every year for 30 years of activity and still more come.
The real novelty of 2022, in addition to the inauguration of the new hub in the Bologna interport, is the presentation and implementation of a 2022-2025 strategic plan which aims to lead the group to become market leader in the national groupage sector by introducing various new services that expand and complete the CDS offer, as well as the strategic development of the international network which will be increasingly performing and able to give the right answers to the market.
The mission? Networking
But what is the mission of Gruppo CDS? Above all, create a network, bring together collecting companies with commercial agreements designed to optimize the primary and secondary lines, improving times and reducing waste where possible. To do this, the CDS Group provides a common regulation to all affiliates, standardizing the fees for services, and only accepts entrepreneurs in the transport sector who have a propensity for teamwork, correct accounting management and the sharing of service standard of the CDS network. The testimony that comes from companies that have been part of the network for years confirms the effectiveness of a strategy that makes service quality its strong point.
