This month we interviewed Michela Paoli, Operations Clerk at P&I Logistica Srl.
Tell us about yourselves! What is your company’s story?
We are a transport company founded in 2016, initially focused on groupage shipments in Tuscany. Over time, we expanded our distribution area by joining other networks, such as CDS.
For most of the day, my role is focused on CDS: I manage departures, arrivals, and everything related to this network.
How long have you been part of Gruppo CDS and what led you to join the network?
We have been part of Gruppo CDS since mid-2016, initially handling small volumes and then gradually increasing both inbound and outbound shipments.
What are the key features that make your service unique in the areas/provinces you cover for the Group? Which customers or sectors are your strengths?
We aim to manage all deliveries in our areas as quickly as possible, while accommodating the recipient’s needs whenever possible.
Since the Lucca area is quite large and diverse, we do not have a predominant sector: we handle shipments ranging from wine products to hardware, paper, and electrical goods.
What does being part of CDS mean to you? How has the affiliation impacted your daily work and growth opportunities?
Being part of CDS allows us to offer a broader and more diversified service to our customers; at the same time, thanks to near real-time shipment tracking, we can provide an improved level of service.
On a personal level, by mainly working within this network, I have had the opportunity to interact and build relationships with many people across Italy, enriching my professional experience.
