This month we interviewed Giuseppe Virga of Savise Express.

Briefly introduce your company and your role within it.

The Savise Express courier was founded in 2004 with the aim of being a point of reference for national transport companies in the widespread distribution of goods in Sicily: today it is a widely structured Made in Sicily reality with a focus on capillarity in the territory.

Family management remains a driving factor for business development: two generations coexist today in management, allowing the peaceful sharing of experience and vision of the future to face the daily challenges of a constantly evolving market. Specifically, I have been in charge of general management for a few years now, working closely with the entire team present in our five offices: Palermo, Catania, Caltanissetta and Ragusa and a transit point in the province of Trapani.

How long have you been affiliated with the Group?  

The affiliation is recently established: it dates back to 2022.

Which areas/provinces do you serve for the Group and which sectors/customers do you target?

Our company serves all of Sicily with the exception of the province of Messina.  We offer ourselves to customers who operate in the wine and agri-food sectors, key sectors of the island's economy.

What does being a CDS affiliate mean to you?

Affiliation with CDS represents for us a further step in the capillarity and an expansion of our offer to customers: we are thus able to cover almost the entire Sicilian territory by providing an increasingly wider range of services to the end customer, guaranteeing certain delivery times and competitive costs.
